This crème de la crème ceremonial-grade matcha brews an exquisite, buttery-sweet broth of chlorophyll elixir with rich and malty roasted aromas.

The crown-jewel of the artisan-roasted matcha, Misaki™ uses only the topmost, burgeoning buds of shade grown tea trees nurtured for over 30 years before harvest, boasting the sweetest and most luscious taste profile of the brand's range. Packed full of L-theanine and immunity boosted antioxidants, this rich ambrosia can also be prepared in "koicha" (thick) consistency that can launch you in to a transcendent state of alpha-wave nirvana.

Place 1/2 tsp (approx. 2 scoops) of matcha (~1g) in the matcha bowl, then add 15ml (0.5 fl oz) of 70ºC/160ºF water. Thoroughly knead mixture using the Chasen (bamboo whisk) until smooth paste forms. Add 70ml (2.4fl oz) of remaining water and mix until consistent.

Frothing ceremonial matcha is not encouraged as the resultant airy foam can impair matcha's flavour delivery potential. Upon sipping, roll the liquid around the palate to appreciate the full flavour anatomy of the tea.

Before use, cut open the inner bag and gently empty the contents in to the tin. Store in a cool dry place, away from moisture, and odours. Refrigerate after opening for optimal flavor and potency.
